Getting into Sci-Fi without ADR?

We made reservations at Mama Melrose for a late lunch so we could get the Fantasmik package, but also at Sci-Fi Theater for a late dinner because we wanted to try it, and it doesn't have the Fantasmik package. We were tentatively only planning to spend one day at HS.

But, if we canceled the Sci-fi ADR, would we be able to get in at an off time and just order dessert or something, and not have to burn an ADR on it? We really just wanted to try it for the atmosphere and the shakes.

Thx.

On a Fantasmic night, I'd expect most of the restaurants to be booked solid. If you are legitimately planning to go to Sci-Fi, even if only for dessert, I think you should keep your ADR.

Thanks for the reply. I just realized that I am confusing making a dinner reservation with using my dining plan credits. Just because I have a reservation doesn't mean I have to use the DP, right? We can still pay OOP?

If that's the case, then absolutely I will keep the reservation. :)

Back in 2003 before the DDP we were able to get into SCI FI with little wait, now with ADRS its a wait, its pretty popular so Id keep trying to get a ADR even if you have to call DIsney Dining when you arrive..
