Getting in the parade

I am here and dying to be part OF THE MAGIC. ANy tips as to how to get INTO a parade... feel the hand waving already!

My husband suprised me for our 13th Wedding Anniversary by giving me the present of my dreams.......to star in a Disney parade. My husband said it took several days of work in speaking with the park entertainment manager in person but he managed to do it which I was so so suprised. We got the call on our cell phone at 2:30 while riding the safari....funny! I got to ride in the Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade in the first car and what a treat!!!! My dream came true...thanks Disney!
But word of advice...don't try to arrange this ahead of time...this is something that has to be done in person. Calls just won't do.
