Getting ice in DL

Somewhere on these boards I read that if you go to one of the counter service restarurants in DL that you can get ice to put in your water bottles. Is this true? I don't mind paying for the ice. Can anyone give any info?

I know you can get ice at Plaza Inn, Rancho del Zorco, and Whitewater Snacks for free. I haven't been to any others to know for sure.

You can get ice from any of the Counter Service places. As far as I know, it is free.

I would presume it would be just like WDW. Go up to any counter service and ask and they will give you a cup of ice or even ice and water.

When I was in WDW, the servers were not allowed to fill up the bottles. At a sit down restaurant the brought me a pitcher of water and I filled them up. At the carts, they will give you a paper cup with water and/or ice for you to pour into your bottle. My DW and I use the Brita bottles. They work great, even with the water in WDW.

I dont think they can actually fill your bottle but you can get a cup of ice anywhere they do counter service. We get cups of ice there all the time. If they give you a kid size cup tell them it's for your water bottle or ask for 2.
