Getting harder and harder to meet characters.

I've been a WDW AP for quite some time now, and I've noticed recently that it seems to be getting more difficult to meet characters. Times have been shortened, lines getting longer. Some meets only with Fastpass+ or special dinner reservations.

And like Baymax, for example. He is never listed on MDE or anywhere at Hollywood Studios. You would have to already know where he was to even have a clue.


And CM aren't as nice about the line ending, or the characters leaving. Not offering a smile and a timeframe of when they'll return. Idk...it just seems like everything is being monetized. And I get it, I really do.

But just wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

The characters in the temporary meeting spot have never been specifically listed anywhere as far as I can recall. Do yourself the biggest favor ever and pay the $3.99 for Kennythepirate's character app. Worth every single penny. It is detailed with all of the characters' set times throughout the day along with tons of other info. It is a web based app www.characterlocator.com As for the CMs, I haven't noticed any difference, and with FP+, I find characters even easier to meet. Seriously, though, that app is the bomb. Lol

Outside of Baymax who are you specifically talking about because most cast members always tell what time to come and even say come 5 mins earlier!

I found it much easier this trip to meet characters. We didn't have a set list we "needed" to see and our child was okay with just walking past the characters without meeting them all, but the lines for most of them were not long and we could have waited to meet them if she wanted, and did for most of them. Except Baymax, we did not wait in his line because it was super long for a character meet and she wanted to go on ToT instead.
