Getting Frustrated

I have been using the wedding calculator and I feel as though what I want I cannot get...I want to try to do an escape wedding then the calculator tells me to do a Wishes wedding....would I be better to call the wedding team and talk with them about it all.....BTW what outside vendors can you bring in, if any. TIA...please give any advice as possible....I want my ceremony at SBP

Sorry for the frustration. I would definitely call and discuss what you want ndo you a reception? Or just a dinner or dp? Those factor in. At your site I believe you can do outside vendors for flowers video and photographer. I've even heard people of doing char rentals. If you are in the parks youre very limited but off the parks it's not nearly as strict.

Escape weddings don't seem to be featured in the calculator, I'm *guessing* because we get set packages with standardized elements. For Wishes weddings, however, there's no limit, once the minimums expenditures are reached, and the calculator gives Wishes brides a way to estimate how much their desired amount of decorating, lunch vs dinner reception, extra entertainment, etc, might be.

It'd be nice to easily find out how much add-ons to the Escape package cost but again, since Escapes are standardized packages, you seem to have to either dig a little, ask DFTW, or post questions here to get any clues!

The wedding calculator is way too generic to give an accurate picture of costs. Talking to the wedding team is a good idea. They can work up an estimated proposal tailored to your situation that will give you a better idea. Another thing you can do is read the Escape wedding planning journals on this site and see what people paid for their extras. Pricing may change a bit by the time you hold your event, but it will be pretty close.

The only outside vendors you can use at outdoor, non-theme-park locations are photo, video and personal floral (i.e., bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages). You can't use outside vendors for floral/decor or entertainment.
