what software is used to open the disigns? I've saved them on t my cmputer but I only have word, I might have paint, and then I have CS3, elements 5.0 and an older elements. I can't figure out how to open/mirror/print paper optin for tshirt transfer etc.

I opened them in word, but i can't get the full picture to print large sized. I can get it medium size and it won't let me move the center it only lets me stretch the corners.

We leave in less than 2 weeks and I want to cry, my plan has been to have thet tshirts wrapped up and thats how we're telling the kids. My 6 yo is ging to unwrap an early birthday present with the shirts inside. I just need to figure this ut withut pulling all my hair out :headache:

I'm going to preface this by saying that I'm computer illiterate. I needed help from my 15 year old son.

All I can tell you is what I did, step by step and it worked. I finished my shirts tonight :cool1:

Okay, first, right click on the disign you want.
click save picture as
Make sure the window that comes up is saving it in My Pictures (which is in My Documents)
Once you find it there, double click and it will get large on your screen.
On the bottom will be pictures - arrows; a printer some other stuff, etc...
There will be a picture of something that looks like a scene and a paint brush (it's so small I can't really tell what it is but I think it's the second to the last choice on the bottom right).
Click on that.
It will redirect you to paint.
Now first make sure that you actually NEED a mirror image with the transfer paper you bought (I didn't and ruined an entire package of paper).

If you DO need a mirror image:
click Image and then flip/rotate then okay. It will give you your mirror image.

Next click file and print (if you don't need a mirror image, just come to this step).

Do this on regular paper first to make sure it's the size you need. MIne were fine so I can't help you resize, sorry.

I really hope this helps. I know how frustrating it can be.

If it doesn't help, I'm sorry. Hopefully someone else is up and able to help.

With either CS3 or Elements 5.0 you should be able to open almost any standard image file, .jpg, .gif, .png, .tif, etc. In either of those programs you should be able to resize, flip (mirror) etc.

I'd try to open Elements 5.0, then open the graphic. If it does not come up in the open menu check to make sure All Picture Formats or something similar is selected. Also make sure the file is saved with the proper extension ( .jpg, .gif, .png, .tif, etc.). After opening it you may have to use Select All on the select menu to do the resizing. There should also be a re-size option on the Image menu. Also make sure the layer is highlighted in the Layers Palette or some menu options may be dimmed.

Just a note, I've used Elements 1.0 and 6.0 only. On both of those the menu features I mentioned above were in the same place. You may have to hunt around if they're different in 5.0.
