Getting from WDW to US/IoA - party of 9

We're planning to spend 1 day at Universal on our upcoming trip and are trying to figure out the best way to get 9 people from the All-Stars to US. Obviously we won't all fit in a taxi, and when I checked the Mears website, it looked like our only options were a limo or chartered bus. ???

Has anyone else here gotten a party of 9+ people to Universal without too much of a hassle? Thanks.

There is always the option of two taxis. One van and one regular would work. It's double the cost, but my guess is that the chartered van is going to be pretty pricey as well.

Just cost it out. What does Mears charge for a charter van? Taxi from All-Stars to Universal is going to be $35-45 each way, perhaps a bit higher if there's a lot of traffic on I-4, such as on a weekday between 7-9AM.

So if the charter van is cheaper than $180 round trip, do that. If it's more expensive, take the two cabs.

There is also the option of renting a full-size van. Those can be pretty pricey and I don't know if one is available on property, but why not check? Sometimes the daily rate for a big van is quite reasonable, or at least less than $180.
