Getting from WDW to DCL

We have booked a land/sea package with transfers for July 2004. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. I saw somewhere that this is the last resort (stop) for cruisers to be taken to Port Canaveral. Could we go over to the Grand Floridian that morning and pickup the DCL bus there? The GF is one of the first buses to go to Port Canaveral. Do they only send out enough buses to the resorts to coincide with the guests staying at that resort? Do you have to take the DCL from the resort that you are staying at? There is a two hour difference between the first and last bus to Port Canaveral and we would like to board the ship as soon as possible.
