Getting from Royal Plaza to BWV?

Need recommendation on how best to get from the Royal Plaza to BWV. Am staying at the Royal Plaza my first night and want to get over to the BW as quickly as possible so i can start my day in the parks.

All suggestions welcome!

At this point we're not planning on a rental car. If our transfers end up costing more than a rental will, then we might consider it. at this point, including parking fees, it's cheaper for us to get a towncar or a cab.

Just was wondering if it would be crazy to take a bus from DTD or if there were any other alternative to get over th BWV.

You will have to transfer your luggage on the Disney bus and I don't think they start running until about 9 or 9:30 to DTD.

You could grab the first DTD bus to an open park and then a Disney bus to BWV BUT those buses aren't really set up for luggage and you said you want to get there quickly.

I suggest a cab. When are you flying in? You might be able to rent a car in the airport for a day. Save the cost of the towncar to Hotel Royal and the cab ride to BWV.

National has a location at swan/dolphin, close to BWV, so you could rent a car at the airport for one day, drop off after checking in to BWV, and walk back to your room. Not sure what the rate comparison would be, but it would make for easy transfer. Then you could either rent another car for return to airport, or get a 1 way towncar, etc. There might be some discount information on National car rentals at mousesavers website. DTD buses don't go to the theme parks anymore - just the resort hotels -

okay here is what I would do - use your towncar to make a grocery stop then go immediately to BW - have the bell services store your luggage and groceries - take a backpack with you to the Royal Plaza - find out how much more this would cost you using the towncar - sometimes the driver doesn't charge extra - sometimes they do.

if they do - just get out at BWV - take the DD bus and walk to the Royal Plaza - do the same thing going back....

since DD doesn't open until 10:00am - you might have a problem trying to get to BWV early.

are you familiar with OKW - there is a walking path from OKW to DD - West side over behind the Cirque du Soleil - but it is very easy to get losted on this path if you don't know where you are going....if you can find your way to OKW - there is a bus stop not far from where the path ends - take the bus to Studios then walk or boat to BWV.

Very creative solution, but I'm not sure BWV will store groceries and luggage overnight. Easiest thing to do is to rent a car.
