Getting from OKW to Boardwalk Bakery

We would like to visit the bakery before heading to Epcot. We are staying at OKW. Best strategy?

Take a bus to Boardwalk from any park. Take a bus back to any park or DS and then get a bus to OKW.

Uber.

Take the monorail to TTC and transfer to EPCOT. That would work if you are at MK am and go to EPCOT pm - in January I believe that option will open to visit two parks.

Unless you have a car, Boardwalk can be a challenge. We've stayed at BWV and picked up food at the bakery and it is good but I'm not sure I would invest 2-3 hours to go there. There must be something special you want. :flower3:

Good luck!

We are going in January - park hopping will be back so I am assuming the monorail transportation should be back?

The way I read OP is they want to go from OKW to BW in the morning, and from there to Epcot. The replies above would be irrelevant. I can't see how the Epcot Monorail gets involved in any way.

I would say take a bus to HS, then boat or walk to BW, or take Skyliner from HS to Epcot & walk to BW. From BW, just walk to Epcot.

you could take a bus from OKW to HS, then boat or walk to BW
Best option Uber or Lyft direct to BW.
Any other option involving the bus, boat, skyliner will take you much longer to get to BW.

Have to agree. That's how I would do it. BW isn't particularly easy to get to. Is there a special reason for going to the Bakery? I mean, it's a nice enough bakery, but they really don't have anything all that special.

We usually stay at the beach club and like to stroll along the boardwalk. Since Epcot has a later opening, we thought we could get out Boardwalk fix amd then walk to Epcot after.

Bus to Hollywood Studios then boat or walk to bakery or bus/boat to DS and bus to Boardwalk

Frankly, I would just Uber. A mobile order will be required to enter the resort via Uber, but you have to mobile order there anyway. Place your order before leaving OKW, call the Uber, and you'll be there in 15 minutes.

If you only want to use Disney transportation, I would bus to DHS and then walk or boat to Boardwalk. I would not use the Skyliner - you'd have to transfer from the DHS line to the Epcot line at the CBR hub during the morning, which is relatively busy, and then when you arrive at the Epcot station, you'd have to backtrack to the Boardwalk.

Especially right now. Their options are limited right now.

FYI, the Boardwalk Bakery isn't what it used to be. However, Uber is the fastest. Otherwise, take the bus to DHS and walk over to the BW
