Does anyone know how long it would take to get from Epcot to the Swan and Dolphin to eat dinner? I know you can walk, or take a boat. Anyone have suggestions as to which is better?

You would exit EPCOT through the International Gateway. Just follow the walkway to the Swan or Dolphin. Walking is probably faster but if the boat is there, then it's a nice relaxing ride. It would probably take 10-15 minutes to walk, the boat is probably about the same.

ITA. Our last trip I timed the walk at just over 12 minutes. The boat would take at least that long, plus you have to add the load/unload time.

The boat works well if it is raining though.

We walked from EPCOT to Garden Grove about two weeks ago and yes it's 10-15 minutes of walking. With the hot temperatures we walked through the interior corridors of the Y&B Club where the restaurants are to get out of the heat.I agree to walk unless the boat is there.

walk -10-15 depending on your speed
if boat at dock 15
if boat not at dock and you wait for it 20-25

walking is faster. If it's hot, as one poster said, cut through the Beach Club lobby through the Yacht Club ... I think you will still stay cooler that way than on the boats, which are usually crowded and airless.

When you get on the boat at Epcot, the crew always announces that it will take 25 minutes to reach MGM studios (the last stop). Swan and Dolphin is the stop before that, so count on 20 minutes on the boat. Will this trip be soon? Cause it is hot and sweaty in Florida right now! Walking at a reasonably brisk clip would be faster, but you may be fairly uncomfortable by the time you get there. In cooler weather, however, walking is very pleasant. We've done both. Summertime, ride. Cooler weather, walk. Any time of year, have fun!:stitch::eeyore:
