Okay...I have booked the Storybook Breakfast for an 8:30 seating in October. My dilemma is that my sons need to be at the Grand Floridian at 9:45 for the 10:00 Pirate Cruise. I was wondering what the quickest way to get to the GF from the breakfast would be. Also, what time would we need to leave Epcot?

I have never been, so am unable to picture in my mind where things are. TIA for any help!

I think the quickest way to get there would be to take the Epcot monorail to the TTC, switch monorails to the Resort Monorail and get off at the GF. Allow yourself at least a half hour from the time you enter the monorail station to the time you arrive at the GF. Once there you will need to walk back to the harbor. DS just did Pirate cruise 2 weeks ago and he really had fun. Be sure to post how the EPcot Breakfast is when you get back, Maybe I'd like to try thta over Easter.

If you and the boys are also planning to attend the breakfast at EPCOT, my advice is to schedule the breakfast for another day. Otherwise you will either miss the Cruise or have at most about 30 minutes for the breakfast. If you don't get served right away, you will surely miss the cruise.

It will take at least 10 minutes to get from Norway to the monorail. Keep in mind that EPCOT opens at 9:00 a.m., so you might be fighting the crowds coming in on your way to get to the monorail. You may or may not have to wait for one. The monorail ride from EPCOT to the TTC is 10-15 minutes. Then you have to transfer to the resort monorail. Again, you may not be lucky enough to find one already there waiting and ready to leave. The monorail will stop at the Poly before it gets to the GF. I'd allow at least 10-15 minutes for the monrail to get to the GF. Once you get off the monorail, it will take 5 - 10 minutes to get to the dock.

In summary, even if absolutely everything goes perfectly, you will need to leave Norway by 9:00 a.m. to make the Pirate's Cruise. Wish I could be more positive, but I think you will be much happier if you can reschedule the breakfast. Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice. I kind of thought we would be cutting it close to try and do both, so I made breakfast reservations on Wed., Oct. 9 at 9:00. I am planning on doing the MK that day so we will miss the opening of the MK, but I guess we can just take the monorail from Epcot to MK after we're finished with breakfast. I'm honestly not too worried about how many rides we get on, so getting there a little late doesn't concern me too much.

Once again, thanks for taking the time to respond! This board is the greatest :)
