Getting from Epcot to Contemporary?

We"ll be touring at Epcot and will head for to the Contemporary for Chef Mickey's dinner. Do I take the monorail? Where is it located? How much time should I allow for travel? This is our second time to Disney and we've yet to ride the monorail, looking forward to it!

When you exit Epcot, the monorail station is right in front of you... you have to walk up a ramp to get there. The monorail goes to the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC). You'll have to get off the monorail here and switch over to the resort monrail line, which will get you to the Contemporary. Allow at least 45 minutes for travel time. You may end up just missing a monorail and have to wait for another, but you'll love the ride!
