getting from Disney to Universal

How can I do this?? This would be ideal for us (I want to go to the disney outlet while we are there).

Alamo/National are located at the Car Care Center, close to MK. If you need it, you can arrange to have them pick you up and get you to the rental counter...then drop you off someplace when you're done with the car. Alamo/National are also located at the Dolphin, but no pickup service is provided..you have to get yourself there.
You will also find other car rental companies in the DTD area...for instance, Budget is located at the Doubletree in DTD.

Very cheap one day rentals just aren't all that common. You most likely will find costs hovering around $25 and up.....then, you have to pay to park at US/IoA.

But, everyone has to decide what works best for their particular family and the situation they are in.

Dreams Unlimited has a special ticket with transportation from Disney to Universal- $115 per adult for both Universal and IOA including transportation; I think we're going to use this when we go in Feb.

Just did this last week. Worked great, got to see stuff at both parks and the transportation side was EASY! Just need to remember to PRINT out the transporation voucher you get to give to the driver and call 24 hr in advance to arrange for pick up. They also only run before 10AM or after 3PM. Would definitely recommend.

Mears transportation is great. Never had a problem using them...

Don't forget that if you go with a rental car, you will also be paying an additional $15.00/day for parking over at Universal (unless you have an AP which gets you free parking).

Mears transportation is great. Never had a problem using them...

Agree! I used them in Oct and again in Dec. $18.00 r/t can't be beat. We'll be using them again in May.

We are using Ed Korgan in February....I've only heard good things about him and his rates are very reasonable!

Never used Ed for a WDW to Universal transfer, but did use him last late August/early Sept for a roundtrip airport transfer, when I spent a week at Universal. He's a really nice guy. Highly recommend him and will use him again if I need to get from the airport to a Universal resort. Mears is still cheaper though, depending on your party size.

I was quite impressed with his price! It is $85.00 for him to pick us up from WDW and take us to HRH, then he'll pick us up from Universal (HRH) and take us to the airport on our departure day. It actually works out cheaper for us to hire this towncar service than take Mears, as there are 2 of us. I found his prices to be very reasonable and worth it to not have to worry about my transportation, it's all arranged and taken care of for me

I can't wait to meet him, I've heard nothing but wonderful things about him and the service he provides!
