Getting from Disney to Universal

Can anyone tell me if there is any way to get to Universal from the Disney area? Do I need to rent a car or call a taxi? Is there ant type of shuttle that runs between the two? If not can I rent a car for just two days from the hotel and have it delivered to me? Thank You

You can easily rent a car if you are staying on-site at WDW. A shuttle will pick you up and take you to the rental center.

You could also try Mears transportation.

I believe Mears can take you for like 15- $18 per person RT

We took a cab from Coronado Springs Resort to the Grand Floridian one evening for dinner & it cost us $30 RT plus tip, just to give you an idea.

We're doing the opposite - traveling from Universal to the MK one day during our upcoming trip (staying at PBH at Universal). We decided to hire a limo for the RT - $70 + tip. They will pick us up at our hotel and take us to the Contemporary resort; we'll make our way to the MK from there. After Wishes, we'll return to the CR where our limo will take us back to PBH.

The limo cost, from what I've read, is about the same as a taxi - but no hidden costs like getting stuck in traffic or getting a taxi that takes the long way back. Plus we know it will be there for us - one less thing to worry about.
