Getting from Contemporary to Artist Point

We are staying at the Contemporary Resort in August and my husband and I have an ADR for dinner at Artist Point at 6:10. We're dropping our two kids off at Pixar Play Zone at 5:00. Do you think that gives us enough time to get to the Wilderness Lodge? We were planning on taking the boat from the Contemporary to the Wilderness Lodge because it would be the most convenient, but I'm not sure how often it comes. Would it be better to drive our car or maybe try to get a later reservation? Thanks.

Should be plenty of time.

you should have plenty of time. The boat comes every 20-30 minutes as I recall. Its not a long trip to Wilderness. Its also a nice ride. However, if you have a car, its a very short drive and then you will have more time to enjoy the resort in the daylight. And you won't have to wait for the boat either direction.

If it starts raining or thunderstorms you may need to bail on the boat and find another way. Storms stop the boats

The boats run very regularly and we find that they are actually more reliable than the busses. You can catch a bus either direction and head straight to WL or go to FW first.

Enjoy your meal! Think we are going to try Pixar Play Zone one evening too. We always enjoy an adult only evening and our daughter has always had a blast at the other kid centers.

Thank you everyone for your replies, you've all been a big help! We'll take the boats unless it's storming, then we'll drive. We're definitely looking forward to one last meal at Artist Point before they make the new changes to it.
