getting from ASmo to polynesian

we have Ohana ressies at 8:50. Looks like the best senerio is bus to MK and then monorail to poly. So we would need to be at the bus by 7:00? How much does a cab cost from ASmo to poly? Is that the better idea?

In my mind, yes, taking a taxi is the better option that having to do a transportation transfer. The cost of a taxi is probably between $15 to $20 plus tip and will take about 20 minutes. You can look up the cost on the Mear's taxi estimator web-calculator:

We did this last fall. went to MK, it was a night of MNSHP that the others went to. From their (MK) early closing we wanted to head to Poly for Luau. The issue we had was getting back to the value Movies. We walked to a bus stop area, and I am not sure why if, the monorail was not running, or if we were going to the transit area then to our resort. Long story short, we ended up with a driver that picked us up, got reassigned to pu at MK to value movies so we had a great ride back.
