Getting from AKL to Beach Club?

Sorry if that sounds like a really dumb question, but can you just catch the bus at Animal Kingdom Lodge to head to the Beach Club? If so what stops does it make, and how long should we expect the trip to take?

No buses from resort to resort,you would have to transfer at a park or Downtown Disney.But for this particular trip your best option is to take the bus from AKL to Hollywood Studios and from HS take the boat or walk to the Beach Club.EPCOT's International Gateway is also a boat ride or walking distance to the Beach Club,but buses from AKL would go to the front of the park so you would have to enter the park and walk all the way to the IG,so your best option is AKL to DHS.It's a much closer walk from EPCOT's IG to the Beach Club than from DHS to the Beach Club so I would suggest taking the boat from DHS especially if it's a hot day.To walk it would take at least close to 15-20 minutes.

Your other option is to take the bus to AK and then transfer to a YC/BC bus there. I guess it would all depend on what time you need to be a BC.

We found the fastest way was to take the bus to AK and then get on the bus to BC/YC. We've done that and the bus to DHS and then the walk or the boat and the AK was a lot faster.
