Getting FPs for a child under 3

I have a friend who's child will be 40 inches on their next trip, but not yet 3. She isn't sure she'll take her on the "big" rides, but if she wanted to, how does she get FPs for her without a ticket? I don't know since none of my children have hit that height limit prior to age 3, so I told her I'd go to the experts. TIA.

Any child who is young enough to not need a ticket is also young enough to not need a FP

She will just need to get a FP for herself and they both get into the line with it.
