Getting FPs during Extra Magic Hour?

I’m currently planning for my first trip to DLP next month! I’m staying onsite so will be in the parks for Extra Magic Hour. Can we start getting a FP at the kiosks during this hour? Or do we wait until the official public opening time to do so?

For instance EMH is 8:30-9:30 and the parks open to the public at 10. Can we get a FP at 9:00? Or do we wait until 10?

Officially from park opening, but I have seen that they were available to pick up between 9:30 and 10 as well. First FP return time will be 10:30 - 11:00.

Keep in mind, it's not possible to turn up early and get on, they will make you wait. It is up to the goodwill of the CM if you show up after your return time has passed.
