Can I go into a park w/ all my family's passes and get FPs for everyone before they have entered any park that day? I want to get up early Christmas morning, let everyone else sleep in, sneak over to Epcot and get FPs for us all for later in the day (before they "sell out").:earseek:

That wouldn't work. Pass needs to be active and there is a limit of how many fast passes in a certain time.

Also, there is a 100% chance they will close admission to MK early on Christmas Day. You should get everyone up and moving to get there ASAP, since it will be crazy. I have heard they close it at capacity as early as 10:30am. Of course, they need active passes to get FP's anyway. So, no sleepyheads on Christmas at the Magic Kingdom.

If you get to a ride early and there is little to no line, want you FP be fore an early time too? So how do you get an afternoon time?

Could I activate the passes at the park gate, and explain to the CM what I'm trying to do?

Only passes that have been used for admission to the park that day work in fast pass machines.

We found this out the hard way. One of our APs wasn't working, they let us in without it going through the machine properly and it would not work with the fast pass machines. We got it replaced at Guest Services.

larryd, that wouldn't work either. When the rest of your party went to enter Epcot they would be looking for a handstamp. If they didn't have it they would take another day on the pass.

I would just have everyone get up, ride the rides and then you could all go back for a nap or a swim at your resort.

Love your sentiment - as I love to sleep in on vacation, unfortunatley the answer is no.

The pass must be used to enter that park on that day to work in the FP machinge. Since the tickets are not transferrable you could not use more than one pass to gain admission. I suggest if the party wants to ride something they had better get up and get to the park with you.

If you did manage to run more than one ticket through the turnstyle then the real owner would not have the proper handstamp and would not be allowed into the park later. To re-enter a park you must have the ticket and the appropriate handstamp - both not one or the other.
