If my family and I are in DL can I take their tickets and go get FPs for all of us at CA, or do we all have to enter CA first? In WDW, all members have to enter each park before FPs are enabled...just wondering if it works the same way in California.

As long as they've used their park tickets to enter a park, you should be able to get FPs for them in either park. There were some reports recently that indicated if a ticket had never been used to enter that park, you could not get FPs for that park.

Can somebody confirm they have done it recently?
as far as I knew you had to be scanned in at that park. I have seen people try to get fast passes doing this exact thing and they were unsuccessful. That's not to say it hasn't changed this was like a year or two ago when I last saw this.

My dh did it for our family in April. We were in DCA, and he got fp's for BTMRR.

Good to know. Thanks for the response. We will be there in August. It is more efficient for one of us to go between parks.

Since at least 2005 one only needed to enter either DL or DCA and the entrance ticket was enabled for FP collection at the opposite park. I have done this myself dozens of time up through last summer.
