getting fit for your trip - a place to share & ramble

man , you cant be sick..only 13 sleeps for you

I just glen 20'd the entire library much to everyone's disgust/ heckling...but they know I'm going on hols so my health comes before anything...and hey, it only kills 1 in 100:rotfl:

There I am today, blowing my nose (customers staring at me thinking "serve me, me saying in my head "I can serve you if you want me to drip snot in your bag") then binning the tissue then germ spraying my hands.
It all became too much and I said "too much snot, i'm going home"...

This better be better by Friday or i'm having next week off :rotfl:

Any excuse to not work next week...

i hear you!! took a bus to visit my parents on the weekend, and the guy sitting across the aisle sniffled the whole hour and half ride from point a to point b. and not a dainty sniffle, but the kind of nasty snortling that indicates some kind of sinus issue with some kind of blockage and that horrible, wet, nasty loud sinus sound. it was revolting and every time he did it, i shuddered and felt bile rising in my throat. eventually i couldn't take it any more, and so i handed him a tissue. he turns to me and goes 'what do i need this for?'

:faint: :sick::eek::headache:

LOL at least he didn't do the old "bushman's blow"
If you don't know what that is picture a guy closing one nostril, then blowing as hard as he can out of the other nostril to clear it
:crazy2:

Mint slice bikkies for breakfast, does that fit in the healthy eating plan?

Well, I had a chocolate shake and 2 pieces of raisin toast with butter at maccas on the way to the gym this morning (no bread at home and I refuse to eat the only cereal left in the house that belongs to the kids - Nutrigrain and Cheerios :headache:)

Did some light weights and 45 mins on the treadmill - I've only realised there's a 'fat burning' option on the pre-set thingy! Stopped at Coles for some milk and frozen spinach and a roast chicken plus some lamb chops for dinner. The chicken's for quesadillas for lunches tomorrow. Will have bananas and soda water for lunch before going to a school event for DD where I'll be eating a chocolate cake I made to share (only 57g of chocolate in it and I'm worried it won't taste nice).

Should be cleaning this mess of a house instead of being on my butt at the laptop :surfweb:, best haul my weary legs up before I really lose the cleaning motivation (when all I really want to do is be a slob on the couch reading New Idea).

At least I'm smelling nicely of Christmas anti-bac gel from Bath and Body Works - love their stuff. Icky sniffy gym members

come and clean my bathrooms as well:artist:

my new cunning plan

after the gym each night i am getting a 6inch sub from subway (vegi delight) to have for dinner...240 cals (no cheese, extra halepenos)..DH will have one to, so that $7 a night for 12 nights dinners......cheaper than steak.

If i cant lose these last 2.2kg's this way i think I will amputate a limb:rolleyes1

I will be 69.9kg when I board that damn plane ..:stir:

Like the sub idea :goodvibes

Didn't get much done in the cleaning stakes. Got sidetracked with an episode of Ellen - sitting at the kitchen table with my feet up and eating an apple!

Bad food weekend :crazy2:

For breakfast yesterday I started off ok, bacon and eggs.
Then morning tea at work I had a chocolate croissant :scratchin, washed down with a diet coke, so it's fine...right?
Then lunch I had a sausage in bread with a chocolate eclair chaser, also washed down with a diet coke.
Then taco's for dinner, followed by half a SaraLee chocolate pudding with ice cream, washed down with a bourbon and diet coke or 3.

The today we went out and had a greek lunch, saganaki, picked octopus, calamari and then main lunch was a mixed souvlaki

Tomorrow is a new day :crazy2:

Subway plan is going well, will only do it week nights, but I have dropped 0.7kg this week...

good luck ladies:crowded:

Haven't been here for a while but glad to see that all are still going strong and trying their hardest to be good.
I on the other hand have fallen off the wagon and it has collided with a Mac truck!!!

I somehow have put on 3 kgs over the last 3 weeks and am the heaviest I have been in the last 2 years. I don't know why. The only thing that has changed is my meds, so it could have something to do with that. I do feel so bloated all the time too, just yuck.

I had the grand plan to be a certain weight before we went and I have absolutely no chance of getting even close. I am around 9kgs heavier than our last trip 2 years ago and the plane seat was uncomfortable then so I hate to think what it will be like now.

So, apart from starving myself or living on soup for the next seven weeks, I am at a loss:confused3 I just don't want it to tarnish our trip.

I can't help having Lupus and it will never go away, but some days I could just scream.

Sorry for the ramblings................ and thanks for listening!!!:)
