My brother just informed us he wants to get engaged at WDW when we go in September. Who wants to share ideas? Of course this is very last minute. We have a few ADRs but none in the castle (unfortunately).
Also, I am looking for a Disney design of some sort that says "Just engaged"
Any help would be great!

My brother was going to propose to his then girlfriend last year. He was going to do it at the wishing well right beside the castle...have the gf close her eyes to make a wish and while she's doing that, get down on one knee.

That's my favorite, but right before wishes is always romantic too.

How about on the beach at the poly. Could you run ahead and write will you marry me in the sand??

VERY CUTE!

We will be at ASM for 3 nights and GF for 4 nights.

I proposed during dinner at CRT. I was going to wait until dessert but I couldn't wait any longer. I found out later they've got a variety of ways to help a guy propose there...too bad or I'd have totally gone some of them.

During Wishes as opposed to before would be my preference...I thought about that one.

I'm sure pretty much any ADR spot will have some way of making it special.

I dig the beach idea.

Maybe some what of a crap shoot, but maybe a quick whisper to one of the Dapper Dan's while they're hanging about on Main Street USA?

Cool...More to pass along....

My DH proposed to me at Disney. It was on a carriage ride at Fort Wilderness. They gave me a pillow made out of carnations. The details are on my PJ on the first page. The link is in my signature

My fiance proposed on the Disney Cruise....but obviously that's not an option for you!

My future brother-in-law wanted to propose to my future sister-in-law (df's sister) at Walt Disney World so he loved the wishing well idea I told him too and went with that. I told him to get down on one knee when she was making a wish and then when she turned around she'd be shocked (she was) and he would say, "I hope I can make your wish come true." And he did! And yes, that was actually her wish. The nice thing about the well, besides donating money to chariting even if it is change and the gorgeous backdrop of Cinderella's Castle, is that I've found no matter how busy the park is there's usually nobody or very few people over there.

Here's some photos for your viewing pleasure:

Right after she made her wish and turned around:

More shock now that she's realized what's going on:

Of course she said "yes" and admires the ring:

And then one of my fiance and me (on the left) and the newly engaged couple:

Just make sure you have change to make a wish. We didn't and had to make up a story about buying something to get change. LOL. :rotfl:
