OK...so you can see what a novice I am but we have annual passes and would love to do EVERYTHING that we possibly can to make it special and worth it:) What does it mean to be dreamed and what are dream cast members?

TIA!

Jenn

This is a year of a million dreams and in the Disney Parks they hand out loads of daily prizes to people. I could be mickey mouse ears, fast pass lanyards, stay in DCA an hour after park closing and ride all the rides you can in an hour.... Some dreams are even bigger and they give away prizes such as vacations, a night in the Disney dream suite (WDW Cinderellas castle suite, and DL the new suite above pirates of the Caribbean which was the old Gallery)

To be dreamed you have to look for disney cast members (People who work at the park) they will be dressed in royal costumes and will be handing out prizes to lucky people. You dont know where they will be or when. You basically just have to be at the right place at the right time.

Are there any TIPS to where these people might be? I have been there three times since last month and, admittedly wasnt looking for them, but havent seen any out of the ordinary cast members?

It really varies. We've seen them at the exit of rides (TOT and IASW). We've also seen them on walkways that were kind of out of the way of foot traffic. But they can really be anywhere!

It's a random thing, computer-generated. They are told be in this place at this time. You can TRY to be there if you see people streaming past wearing dream ears or lanyards, dream fastpasses, etc, but they often give them to people getting OFF of an attraction. By the time you're on and off they might be gone. :)

I've seen many people talk about Dreams being given on a pathway by Rancho del Zocalo, but unless you want to spend your trip lurking over there, unless you're going by when they are randomly told to be there, you won't have luck.

You can enter by mail...one postcard per family member per day...to up your chances (can't believe I just made MY chances worse by saying that), but of course you can't get fastpasses or a night in the dream suites, etc...anything that needs you to be there you can't get through that avenue.
