Getting Crown package at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

I am taking my godchildren and best friend to WDW in August and having a hard time deciding if they would like to get "made up". But if we decide to treat the kids (boy and girl), we will most likely do the crown package and cheapest package (forgot name ) at Pirate League. Most children are just happy with the experience of getting made up (girls) and boys could care less

We have done BBB three times and on all occasions got the cheapest package, which included the hair and makeup. On all occasions we came dressed in our dress already, as at least half of the little princesses do.

Our experience was just as great as the full package. If I thought for a moment that the experience was anything less or that we were missing out on anything, I would have upgraded on our 2nd and 3rd trips back. But it was every bit as special.

My daughter is 6 and a lover off all things princess! She did just fine when we brought a dress from home. It worked out well. The MK location let her change into her dress in their dressing room when we went in January 2010. SHe can be quite persistant about what she wants and what she thinks. But, we discussed it in advance and I got her a new crown to go with the dress and she was quite happy. She did not even realize other girls were getting a dress at the BBB...or if she did she never mentiioned it...she was so "into" her own makeover. It was lots of fun!

Both of my DD's have done the BBB but without the costumes. I am taking my DD for her 8th birthday in Dec and my Mom is making her Belle's Christmas dress. I did not know that they would let you change into your own dress at the BBB. I will definitely do this when we go in Dec. Thank you for the info.
