Getting Bread Pudding at Tambu Lounge

Even though it’s not on the menu apparently you can order Ohana Bread Pudding at Tambu Lounge for roughly $12-$13. Can anyone speak to the portion size that you get for that price? Thanks so much!

I'm not sure but just so you know when I was there in October they didn't start food service until 4pm. We had gone at lunchtime

We got the bread pudding at Tambu in March. It serves two happy people.

I don't know how much it cost because the bartender gave us a complimentary piece to make up for a long wait on our food, but it was a HUGE piece. My DH didn't want any and I feel like I ate and ate on it and didn't even eat half.

I'm interested in your experience. Someone on another thread said the potstickers and wings can be ordered to go. Since we had so much difficulty booking ADRs on this trip, we had decided to just order some items to go and eat on our balcony.

So they don't package it to go, but I asked the bartender if I could take it to the beach since the fam was hanging out there waiting for fireworks. They said they can't package it to go but then they looked at me and said but they can't control where I ate it. It was weird to carry the plate all the way to the beach but I made sure to return it and left the bartender a nice tip.

I’d just bring a couple of ziplock containers and transfer them over yourself at the bar, rather than carry a plate back to your room. Those wings and potstickers are slippery suckers. Lol.

Yeah, they don't serve food until 'Ohana is open. Same with a lot of resort lounges (Abracadabar and Enchanted Rose don't have food until 5).

Go on YouTube and search for Paging Mr. Morrow. He does a video of his stay at the Polynesian, he gets the noodles from O'hana to go (he may have ordered another item, I don't remember). We have ordered it to eat there, I have seen it taken to go, too.

...whether 'to go' or not, hands down, I'd prefer these two items over the bread pudding ANY day of the week....but that's just me - I'm not really a 'dessert' person.

We'll be there next week too...oh great, now I'M hankering for some of those potstickers! Their sushi is fabulous too - very fresh!

You can mobile order the Bread Pudding and wings(dinner only) from Kona to-go. They come in to-go containers.

We just got back yesterday and went to Tambu Lounge for noodles, potstickers, wings, and the delicious bread pudding. All were $12. We ate there but I saw people getting items to go, they packed it up in brown cardboard containers. The bread pudding was huge, one was enough for 5 people. That could be difficult to get to go because of the ice cream, it was probably the best thing I ate.

Just in case we have that same experience, I will be bringing styrofoam trays with lids to carry our food back to our room.
