Getting BOG is ridiculous

I was able to book a BOG lunch for 2 last week, during Spring Break madness, less than 48 hours in advance. Actually, there were multiple times available. It helps if you are a small party or at least willing to split into smaller groups. I have done my fair share of stalking but I have never NOT been able to get a reservation we wanted, and we tend to travel at ridiculously busy times. So keep checking! I have found many in the last two weeks. We have thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere at BOG for lunch and dinner. The food is not the greatest, but the prices were comparable to other quick service, my 10 yo DD could order a kid's meal, and I love their triple chocolate cupcake!

It is also worth noting that while checking in at BOG last week and CRT in Dec, I personally overheard managers tell CM's at both locations that they would accept walk-ins. I am sure this was based on conditions that day, but for parties of 4 or less it is definitely worth checking. Granted, the guy asking at BOG was wearing a Beast hat and furry gloves:confused3, but you might get lucky as well!

Try checking alot around the 60 day mark when people select their fast passes. Last November I started checking the week before my 60 days and found BOG several times! Good luck with persistence you will get it!pixiedust:

Same situation here. Had booked a trip for a week and a half ago and had to cancel, then was able to rebook for last Wednesday less than 48 hours out. Last Monday evening I was able to get BOG lunch for two for 10:50 for this past Saturday.

I'm 13 days out from our MK day. o_O And we go every few years, so I'm sure something else will take over in popularity.

I love BoG lunches and have never had a problem booking them - we eat there at least twice per trip. Today was my 180+10 date for dining reservations and I was able to book every meal I had planned, including 2 lunches at BoG and a dinner (which I may cancel).

I have been trying to get lunch at BOG for April 5th, 7th or 8th and am having the same experience. We ate lunch there on our last spring break trip two years ago and loved the experience. We were fortunate to snag an FP for it which made it so nice. I wish both of us luck!

I've been trying to get a BoG lunch pretty much every day since mid-Jan. Last night I had success! Keep at it :-) People cancel as things get closer and plans cement or change. Good luck!

Try breakfast if it works with your plans. I got a pre park opening 2 months before our trip - during sprig break!
The night before our breakfast my aunt decided she wanted to join us - and there was still TONS of availability

When it was first extended back in August(?) 2015 I jumped in and booked breakfast for Christmas morning. I was so excited that I forgot to even grab the confirmation number. "It'll be in the email" I thought.

When I started putting together our preliminary itinerary in October, I went through my emails to grab the confirmation #s. No BOG. WHAT?!?!? I called and checked and they didn't even have it listed for us. I was not happy - especially after being so excited and bragging to my family.

I checked every day - sometimes twice a day and finally secured one about 3 weeks before our trip. It's a mix of luck and timing, honestly.

How funny! Have a I said that I'm trying for April 5th?? Can't remember...at least there's some relief that I'm not the only lone soul looking for lunch (although I'm disappointed for you too). And I have 2 girls! :cutie::cutie:

Good luck to you as well!! :badpc:

I'm definitely open to a late breakfast too! I know we will be starving by 10am when we're there for rope drop.

I highly recommend the pre park breakfast if it's something you would be interested in. It was well worth the $$ to not have to battle RD crowds, walk down a quiet Main St, and still be ahead of the giant wave of people coming towards Fantasyland when going to our first attraction.

I checked today for July 5th, and there were many options for both breakfast and lunch. I was very surprised, I figured IF there was anything, it would be one time available for the whole day.

Luck in scoring BOG has everything to do with the size of your dining party. I've managed to get dinner for four several times in the past, a month to a week out, but a party of six? Forget it!

I've been looking for the 7th, too. I managed to score a PPO breakfast a few days ago. We're having lunch at LTT, so we just want cupcakes and coffee. A very late lunch ADR would be nice.

Every time I tried booking at exactly 180 days out, right at 6 AM, I was able to get one. One time, we even got one when the website glitched and my husband had to call in at 7 AM. I don't have one for our next trip because I didn't want one, but there was availability that first day. After 180 days, I don't usually see it.

Don't Give up hope for larger parties! My party size for the July 5th reservation I got today is for 6 people, I even checked for up to 10. There were multiple times available (still are) for that day and those party sizes.

Like PPs said, keep checking...something should pop up - it might not be the time you want, but something is better then nothing. If you really want to eat there, maybe try and get a reservation for breakfast? I've heard those are usually the easiest out of the three meals to get an ADR for.

I had no trouble getting both breakfast and lunch at the 180+ mark (182 days), but dinner was gone. I'll probably replace the lunch with dinner when they open up more, while breakfast will depend on how we make out with FPs and Disney surprises.
