Getting BOG is ridiculous

We booked our resort after the 180 day mark...but only by a few weeks and I still can't get a BOG reservation for lunch. I feel like CRT was so much easier to get on our last trip. I've checked several times a week since November and now I've ramped it up to several times a day...still nothing! I'm sure that there will be cancellations the day before, but I'd rather not be searching for it in the middle of our trip.

Has anyone not been able to get one for their trip??

Keep checking, something will probably pop up. I couldn't get one at first either, but I checked every morning when I woke up and eventually the exact time I wanted became available.

Getting ADR's at BOG must be a matter of timing. We recently booked a trip for mid-April and because we booked late (less than 60 days out) we weren't sure what we were going to be able to get in the way of ADR's. Had no problems and have a lunch ADR at BOG for our third day there.

I would keep looking as people do change their minds ... frankly we are considering changing to LTT ... just to try something different. We have done lunch at BOG before (shortly after they opened ... before ADR's for lunch were possible) and although we enjoyed the meal and seeing the venue, I frankly think it is a bit overrated ... must still be the novelty of a "new" place ... or perhaps it is just the thrill of "scoring" a difficult ADR ... like the old days with LeCellier!

Keep trying .... bet something comes up sooner or later.

Keep trying... Even on the day or late night before, because folks have to cancel the night before or be charged 10 bucks per person. I got breakfast at 5 am for 8:00 am once.

Another option is to sign up for Touring Plans, they have an ADR finder. I use it often with great results.

I was able to book there for my trip in August. I had no problems getting a dinner reservation for just about any time I wanted. In fact, all the normally hard to get places were open. I would say just keep trying and hopefully something opens up for you.

I have been trying to get an ADR for lunch at BoG for Friday, April 1st at least twice a day, every day, since about mid-Jan. No luck. I will keep trying though!

I had a similar problem. Nothing available at 180 days out for a late November trip. I checked literally every day for months without success. When I was there, I found lots of availability (using the phone app) as people were cancelling and changing their plans in the last few days before reservations. I happily snagged an 11:30am reservation on my desired date, and was also offered 12:15 and 12:45 on the same day.

I booked separate reservations for be our guest for our party of 4.

We were originally just a 3 going-couldn't find any availability at all for 4..
A friend suggested is there a spot for 1 diner either at the same time or close to;
That worked a treat.

In February I booked a trip one week out and I got BoG 5 days out. Only once have I booked a trip at 180 days usually it's more like 2-4 months but I've still always been able to get BoG. Just keep checking.

It's gotten a lot easier, recently! Just keep trying; one of my friends found a same-day BOG lunch last month. People change ADRs all the time.

I guess it depends on when you go. I've got 2 BOG lunch ressies for our June trip, both were booked after the 180 day window.

Lunch is easy. Lots of times available. Dinner is the issue. And they are two very different experiences. Not at all interested in lunch

April 5th is the day that I'm trying...I wonder if it's something about that time period. I would even take a 10:30 lunch...anything at this point!!

We walked up at about 11:00am with a party of 6, and got right in.

Believe it or not a lot popped up during our trip for both pre park opening breakfast and lunches.
We would always check for the next day when we were leaving the parks the night before and at least 3-4 res for the next day.
Of course this was early November

Ok, well, OP was about lunch, so, um, yeah
