not to change the subject ppl, but i saw those things, my friend had them and she got banned for 2 hours, and for sum reason she gave them to me, but i can still logg in....is that normal?

I'm not trying to start any fights or anything so if this post does please go ahead and delete it, but I seem to remember getting pink doors from people in the maze game when I should have been getting purple. Does this mean that me and these people that gave me the pink doors are going to get banned because it sounds like the same thing to me from what I have been hearing?? Hacking yes would be 1 thing, but to get them by accident and keep playing to get for friends in my eyes would go back to what was going on with the doors. Guess that gets my 2 cents out now. OK... I feel better now.

lol I doubt you will start fights, I know I agree with you 100% . The way I see it is, vmk gets worse and worse as each day goes on. I would hate to see it in 10 years as some "bannees" will, considering it will probably be some nightmare! First the "taken" junk came, then all this day care stuff, next came the poorly organized events, then the sudden splurge of everyone trying to become a community leader making it a contest to see who could "win" it! And now...oh now, they are blaming the vmk players for their own mistakes! Why doesn't vmk be the bigger person and confess their mistake and take this whole situation with a little more maturity! I mean come on! Now they start to ban people and it is for the wrong reasons! I still see some scammers walking around the kingdom, but gosh forbid anyone to fall subject to their (the all mighty vmk) mistakes! You can't put a fire out with fire! If I could say one thing to vmk right now it would be "Grow Up!"

does anyone think it is bad to have to accounts , get stuff on 1 , give it to a friend (you trust) and then go back to your other account and get your stuff from the trusted friend ? if so , im a bad gurl -punishes self lol-

If I could express my feelings towards this right here, I'd be banned bc staff reads the forums here. But anyways, Karo was one of those people in VMK that over half the people knew of. I bet it wasn't his fault how it happened, and I think that is why he was banned for a short period (in months) of time. If staff had real proof, he would be banned for life. But still, that harsh of a punishment. COME ON! Maybe there was a bug in his account and whenever he typed a code for the everest pin, or whatever it was, he would get the train car. He was probably trying to get rid of those. Or... the bad side of Karo has taken over. But lets not get carried away

I think it is also just so sad that Karo has been banned. This is no different really than getting anything else by mistake. If you get too much change back at a grocery store or restaurant and they find out do you get banned from the place? No because it was their fault.

I also however see thier side. I know it must be hard for them, maybe impossible, to tell who actually hacked to get the codes, and who got the chairs by accident so it is a case of "one bad apple" definintely, and the fact that the way to do it popped up on fansite just makes them more angry. I understand they need to set an example to prevent this from happeneing again. There is no way for them to know who did what wrong, who did something by mistake, or who was gifted these chairs, so I can see both sides of the argument. the only thing I feel should have been taken into consideration is Karo's CL status. He clearly is a repected member of the game and I am sure he was not to blame in this fiasco. He should have at least been given the opportuinity to explain how he got the chairs.

I think everyone is probably more angry that this happened to a known and loved member of the game (and the DIS) than the 30 day ban itself, and the fact that this person might not return to the game because of the way VMK handled it.I am just so thankful that they did allow everyone that was gifted the chairs to sell them before facing a ban and lets be happy that alot of our friends were saved from the punishment and that nobody got a lifetime ban.
