</b>
<p><b>Well, back to some picture threads, after a brief hiatus to
recoup.   Today I find myself heading on over to the Tampa area for a
DIS meet with Tampa area DIS'ers at Busch Gardens.  I had never been there
before and was looking forward to a nice day at a new theme park (for me) and
seeing some more DIS folks.  I picked up AngieBelle (Angie) at her resort
about 7 AM and headed on over to Tampa, about an hour or so drive from
WDW.  It was nice driving over there, chatting with Angie all about her
school, CPCM days, singing and acting.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2738.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Busch Gardens is quite a bit different than WDW.  Sort of like Animal
Kingdom, with coasters, (is that a good description, Tampa folks??)  Lots
of lush foliage, lots of animals, lots of coasters.  Here, near the
entrance, a pretty waterfall splashes in a quiet pool of water.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2740.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And Princess Michelle, on the left, and Angie, on the right, make the
scene even prettier with their presence.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2741.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>I really could stay there much longer and take pictures, LOL, but we were
on our way.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2742.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Till we were in the gorilla area and the ladies thought I needed a rest
already.  I was in good shape for this BG meet, but the ladies thought it
best I rest my weary knees.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2743.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Mickey Sunshine (Christine) was up to carrying Chrissi Pooh's DD, Julie,
whenever Julie wanted her to.  Julie is a real cutie!!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2744.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>At a shelter from the sun (I forget what animals where here), Christine
tries to tell Michelle that it is this way, Michelle says, 'yeah sure', and
Angie does not really care which way we go.  Julie is trying to make her
water bottle rise off her stroller.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2748.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>This guy really could not care less either.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2749.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Now how do they do that???</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2750.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>He was coming over to tell me personally I think, and I did move
back. </b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2753.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Angie saddles up a tortoise, as does.... </b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2754.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>...Julie.   Love that smile, so mischievous.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2756.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Another relaxing waterfall, there are many.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2757.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>I had heard much about Rhino Rally over the many months, with Michelle and
Barry bantering back and forth about it.  Sort of a Kilimanjaro Safaris
type ride.  But the crowd was much too long, so we passed it by.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2758.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>In case you did not know, this is an elephant. </b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2760.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Julie gets on her motorcycle and has a ball.  So neat to watch little
ones have fun.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2763.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And the adult ones also.  Here Michelle and Julie have a great time
on the carousel.  I think I got a picture of Michelle on the carousel at
WDW also, when we were there on her birthday last year.  You like
carousel's, Michelle??</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2764.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>A very colorful train rumbles and whistles on by.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2765.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Too bad Disney did not keep its Skyway ride, it is so nice to travel above
it all and look at the park on an overall basis.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2766.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>After our skyway ride, Michelle, Christine and KozmicLee (Leila,) look
like they are waiting for someone.  Probably ChrissiPooh, she was always
wandering off.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2767.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Another look, they are neat!!!!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2768.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Here they come down the ramp, right for old Dan!!!!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2769.jpg"></b></p>
<p><b>We then headed over to the Dolphin show, an what a treat it was.
Michelle pointed out to me that the pool is in fact a hidden Mickey.  If I
had just a slightly wider angle lens, you could really see it.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2771.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>If mimes make you nervous, this guy certainly would.  He was great,
lots of laughs</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2776.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>This and the next few are highlights of the dolphin show, a great 45
minutes or so well spent in the shade.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2778.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2781.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Hey, there is that mime again.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2786.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2789.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And, a final bow!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2783.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2799.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Off then to an indoor show, on ice.  It was really stunning to watch,
a great performance.  Michelle said this is one of her favorites in the
park.  I agree, it is so well done.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2804.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Ah haaaaaaaaa, thought you could get me in a restroom exit shots, eh,
ladies????  I am the master on those, LOL.  Always check that the restroom
has only one entrance/exit, LOL.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2805.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Again, a beautiful setting, beautiful animals.  You think you were in
Africa rather than Tampa.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2806.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2809.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Africa and coasters, a great blend!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2810.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Here is Max the lion, the one who made the news a few months back, when a
BG employee was injured while not following prescribed safety procedures.
They look nice, but they are still wild animals.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2811.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Julie is still trying to make that water bottle levitate, about 6 hours
later, LOL.  She thought maybe tying a lanyard around her head would maybe
distract the bottle and make it work.  (Actually, I think we just witnessed
a subtle sign that Julie's day was nearing an end)</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2815.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>This sequence of 4 photos is the Tanganyika Tidal Wave, and the bridge
where, if you are on it when a boat comes down the 55 foot final drop, you are
drenched to the skin, head to toe.  Here is residual spray from a boat just
past.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://worldzone.net/travel/danmurphy//BGMay25_2002/dscn2813.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

<p><b>And near the end of the day, we are in the beautiful bird area.  One
prettier than the next.</b></p>

the best coasters in the country (though I did not go on any).</b></p>
<p><b>Well, that is it from Tampa and Busch Gardens.  We all made our way
back to the parking lot, all to go our separate ways.  I drove back to WDW
with Angie, dropping her off at her resort.  I headed back to my resort,
well worn out from a day at Busch with a great group of DIS folks.  Thank
you guys, for the nice day.</b></p>
