What is the best way to go from park to park? We are not staying on site, so we will drive to the parks each day. Is there a train or monorail system?

The monorail will provide transportation between the MK and Epcot. There is also a boat you can take from MGM to Epcot, I believe. If you are driving and want to drive to another park, you can do that. You won't have to pay for parking again on the same day...just show them your parking pass from the previous park. I really recommend you get a guide to Disney(such as Birnbaum's or the Unofficial guide) and read up if you've never been there. If you have questions about the transportation, then I would assume there is much more you might want to know about. Here's hoping your trip is a grand one!! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

I think that as long as you went into one of the parks that day, you can probably take the buses between the park. However, since you will have a car, it is probably easier to drive than to take the bus. Remember that if you take the bus, then you need to take one back to your car. This is probably important to keep in mind since the parks have different closing hours.

Have fun!

You will want to take your car and drive yourself between each park, as the WDW bus system is for the WDW resort guests only.
Plus, waiting for a bus to take you between parks will take forever even if that was available!!!
Plus, you will find it very convenient having your own car especially when the parks close and you can just get into your own car and leave without waiting in long lines!!! :)

I agree with previous poster that its nice to have your car there. At the end of your day, you will be more tired then you expect and want your car close. The transfers can be tedious and take too much time. So just drive, take the tram, its really easy!

The WDW bus and monorail system is for anyone on Disney property...you don't necessarily have to be staying onsite to use it! I NEVER stay onsite and use the transportation EVERY trip!

With that being said, I find it MUCH MUCH easier to have my own car with me! Especially if you are lugging around lots of "stuff" from park to park (ie stroller, bags, cooler, etc). It's just easier to be in control of how long it will take you to get from park to park.
