Getting around Orlando without a car

Hi All,

We are going to Vacation Village for a week and were wondering if we could walk from the Resort to WDW. We are hoping to avoid renting a car, but don't know if there is any public transport, or if walking to WDW is feasible. We are also looking for accomodation for our second week in the Universal area, and would like to know if there is public transportation around that area. Most people talk about thier resort doing shuttles, but we were wondering if there was a general public transportation we could use to get around. Thanks for any advice,

The local bus system is www.golynx.com

You could see if this would work for you. The bus would take you to the TTC center at MK and then you could transfer to other Disney buses to get you to the park you wan't to visit.

Do you know if the buses that you talk about would go from DTD to any of the outlets?
