We stayed at OKW last year. We had a car. So we were able to drive to HH. Without a car...what do you do. I know you can hop on one of the buses to get to HH but what do you do for the way back? If magical express drops you off at the front desk with all your luggage...how do you get to your room if it is on the other side of the resort? Are you expected to walk? Any help would be great.

You can take a bus back to your room from HH. The first bus stop is across Peninsular Rd from HH. There also used to be internal OKW buses, but I haven't used one in a long time, so perhaps someone else can post. Regarding arrival on DME, the bell staff have large golf cart type vehicles to bring you and your luggage to your room ( especially nice if you like having help hauling suitcases up to a room on the upper floors).

Have Bell Services take your luggage and you to your room when you check in.

Take any bus to HH.

Take the internal shuttle bus, (which comes from DTD as the OKW bus), to the closest bus stop to your room.

It's rather a nice walk around OKW from South Point, Turtle Pond and Miller Road over to the Hospitality House area.

I find it exceptionally easy to get to and from HH from any part of the resort --- almost no waiting because you can get on the first bus that arrives at the bus stop. Just verify with the driver that they will stop at the HH ..... there have been times that the bus was full and a driver tried to whiz by the HH.

To return, it's quickest to walk across the road (by the boat dock) 2 minutes to the first bus stop, Penninsular Road, and jump on the first bus that comes. If you're in the Miller's Road area, it may be quicker to walk than ride the bus around, but there's a choice.

I honestly don't know the status of the "Internal" bus. I used to see them occasionally, but rarely noticed them in the last few trips. My guess is that you could be waiting for awhile at the HH entrance to catch one. It may just continually circle the property, but once in a while we've been waiting 15-20 minutes at a bus stop for a specific bus, and have rarely seen one go by.
