Getting around OKW property

We are staying at Old Key West for the first time. Looking at the map I am starting to have concerns about making this reservation. How difficult is it to get to different areas within the property such as Olivia's, the main pool, arcade, and quick service?

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Beach Club our last trip and had a ground floor within minutes of the entrance to SAB, quick service, Cape May, and main entrance. We were so spoiled! Wanted to stay there again, but not in the budget :-(

Am I going to regret booking OKW? We have 7 kids on this trip so easy access to main pool is a must.

We have stayed there several times and love the resort. It has a very laid back feeling. However, it can be difficult to get around without a car. Some of the villas can be a 10 minute walk to the main pool and Olivia's. Without a car, I think the only way to get to the front is to use the buses. The main area is usually the last stop before the buses head to their destination. You can request a villa close to the main pool but there we no guarantees.

All of the park buses stop at Hospitality House before heading to their parks, so it is easy to get to Olivia's from the villas - just hop on the first bus you see. It is a little trickier to get back to the villa after dinner, since you would have to walk to the first bus stop or wait for the internal bus to get back again.

The quick service food choices are very limited. We had groceries delivered to our villa and ate breakfast there every morning. And then we ate most of our other meals in the parks or other resort restaurants. The 2br villas are great with large groups. We had seven people in our villa and had plenty of room for everyone. We have stayed at the BC many times and love being able to walk into Epcot and DHS from the resort. But we also liked our OKW stay because of how nice the large villa was for our big group.
