We will be staying at Wl from Nov 11-14. We will probably be doing two days at MK-one is early entry. How early does the boat leave and does it take you straight to Mk or do you still have to take the monorail?

Also, how often does the boat come? How late does it run? Any other info would be appreciated.

The boat comes every 20-30 minutes. For early entry to MK the first boat leaves about an hour ahead of the early entry time (so if EE is 8 a.m., and as I recall the first boat takes off around 7 a.m.). The boats run for at least an hour after the park closes. It is a straight shot to the front gate of the MK when you arrive. No other transportation needed.

One thing I found out was if the weather causes the water level of the lagoon to be too high or too low, people in wheelchairs won't be able to use the boat b/c it won't park (boats don't park, but you know what I mean:) )next to the dock evenly.

The boats were also closed once when I was returning from the MK because of high swells on the Lagoon. I took the monorail to the TTC and then a bus back to the WL.

You can also take boats to Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary Resort.

I love the WL and hope you have a wonderful trip!

What is the TTC? sorry, I'm still figuring out all the abbreviations!

We will be bringing our car and I'm just wondering if that would be easier? If we are staying at the resort, do we have to pay for parking? Sorry so many questions.

TTC is Transportation and Ticket Center (kind of a hub where people can get a boat or monorail or bus to other places within WDW). At WL there are two types of boats. One goes back and forth from the WL to the MK. The other boat goes from the WL to the Contemporary and Fort Wilderness. I think taking the boat would be easiest (and it's more fun, too). I don't know the answer to your parking question b/c I always use internal transportation. The whole transporattion thing sounds a lot more difficult than it actually is. Check it out when you arrive and make your decision then. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Having just come back the last boat is 45 minutes after the park closes. It runs in a loop WLV - Campground - MK then in reverse for the second half of day. If you miss the last boat the way back is monorail to TTC (transportation ticket center) then get on boone bus.

As to the parking question, you can park free anywhere in WDW if you are a resort quest. From WL, driving to anywhere except MK is significantly faster than bus. Take the boat to MK.
