I will be measuring my steps at WDW due to an achilles injury. Does anyone know of transportation to get from the Marketplace to the Westside?

In the past, I used a boat connection behind the HOB to get over to the Marketplace. I was wondering if this was still running and if it is just available at night or in the daytime too.

Thanks,
penny

Depends on when you will be their sometimes during the really busy season they will run a boat but if its not running the resort busses stop at the market place first just get on any resort bus and get off at the next stop at pleasure island.

There are boats that run from The Marketplace to The Westside, but they only run after 4pm.

As others have said the ferry is your best bet. It only runs about every 30 minutes and starts after 4pm (I think).

Prior to 4 PM I would take the bus from the Marketplace to the Westside - all of the resort busses go there next. :earsboy:

Thanks guys!

I will indeed want a ride after Cirque so the timing works. As for before, a bus from the Marketplace to Westside sounds good too.

Where we even get off upon arrival depends on what time we get there! It will be Thanksgiving week. Last year the ferry was running and that was the last week of April, not a particularly busy time as most schools were back in session.

It's good to plan ahead! :goodvibes

If you don't mind a little walking, is Marketplace close enough to Westside to walk? I may have been underestimating the size of DD.

Oh absolutely. I can't quote exact distances but if you enjoy walking it is not an issue.

i would guess a less than 10 min walk to get from the middle of one to the middle of the other, depends on how fast you walk of course but it isn't far at all.
