Hi all! DH and I are considering buying in. Don't know yet where or for what but it's probably in our near future.

In the past, we've always had Dreams Unlimited make our ADR's for us. We've never had to fool with it. As a DVC member, do you have to make your own ADR's? I've heard such horror stories about long waits on the phone, rude cast members, and I'd rather not fool with it.

How does that work?

You need to make your own ADRs. Some people call MS and they'll transfer them to Dining.

I've never had any problems making my ADRs or PSs, whatever you call them. And I have had some very friendly CMs talk to me. I usually have the list for the whole vacation and get them all at once. I have the place, the time and the number dining.

I've never had anything but great service in making ADRs...even when struggling to get CRT ressies. They've always been very pleasant.

I've never had to wait very long, except when calling at 7 AM for CRT. I usually call mid-day and get right through.

I've never had a problem and that includes calling from the park right in front of the place after they told me they had nothing.

If I get someone not- friendly or can't understand I excuse myself and just call back later.

MS have always been great for us.

I've never had any problems making my ADRs. I plan out all of our meals and then make one phone call and make all the ADRs at once. I once did that for two different trips I was planning at once and the entire call took about 10 minutes. Planning as far ahead of time as possible helps a lot because it increases your chances of getting the restaurants and dining times that you want. It makes the whole process quick and easy.

Good luck!
