Getting a taxi in Cozumel

We are going to Playa Mia beach resort in Cozumel. Booked through them. Is it going to be hard to get a taxi to take 3 adults and 4 kids? We booked through different venders, but want to get there all together.

I believe that a van taxi will hold your group. Not sure of the price, but there have always been plenty of taxis at the port. We plan on taking one to Paradise Beach in a couple of weeks. We did Playa Mia last year.

This past September we did just that, so go out the dock area, Head up and over the main road, which is a shopping mall of sorts. You have to Go up the escalator, walk all the way around the shops, and then back down. Once off the escalator head south approx 100'. Just past the restaurant you'll be walking by. Do not walk towards Sr Froggs, its the opposite direction I'm talking to. We met up with at least 10 Taxis. Several were mini vans which held 6 adults,
