Thank you everyone for your tips! 
We have re-named Tigger to Maxwell. He and Lelu are getting along just fine.
We kept them seperated the first day until we could get Maxwell to the vet. When they were introduced there was a lot of hissing a growling from Lelu, but Maxwell just wanted to play. Lelu finally realized that the kitten was little threat and they have now started to play!
We are very happy it went so smoothly!
