getting a new(er) car !!

we got the new car bug the other day and we have now decided to get a new car (new to us anyway )
we are going to trade in my y reg galaxy for an 03 galaxy or maybe an 04 zafira

ive seen a lovely galaxy but its exactly the same as the one ive got....so nobody will notice its a new car

well, its very un - ostentatious, you know, very 'I buy new cars all the time' to go for the same, personally I prefer the galaxy to the zafira (I drive the zafira) but the zafiras 6th and 7th seats are better, to be honest I'd really prefer an aston martin, but you can't have everything you want in life can you?

Planning on changing ours also, but cannot seem to sell our current one at the moment which is a real pain in the rear!

As long as it's got a mirror so I can check my lippy and I can fit my shopping in - I couldn't care less what make it is

Next week I'm going to learn how to put petrol in it (whoops I mean diesel)

exactly !!

yes its the same colour...oyster silver thats why i was tempted by the zafira cos thats blue !
the zafira is only just down the road so we are going to have a look tomorrow....the galaxy is in warwick so its a bit further out

Yeah, have spoken to a couple of dealers, but they have offered less than we want to take. Also, as we are trying to release some cash from it, we can't trade it in.

It's definately got to be a different colour, that's the only way to make sure everyone knows it's a new car. I had a bad experience with a Vauxhall so I'd go for the Ford everytime, how about the Toyota they last forever!

We have a Scenic Megan (T reg) which i love but my DH would love a Galaxy next. Not sure if I would find it too big.

My hubby is always researching cars (incase we win the lottery! ) and he would go for the Galaxy.

One good point about going for the same car is that if it is a newer plate but exactly the same people will know you've had it a few years and just assume you've had it from new! I've never had a new car so this has to be a plus for the ego!

DH bought a new (again new to us!) car on Sunday. He got an Audi which was really a surprise because I have never heard him say he wanted one before. He part exchanged his Jaguar and is picking up the new car on Saturday.

So pleased he is pleased!

we have purchased the zafira its a good looking car and they gave us a good price for ours
