Getting a job at disney..?

What is the process you have to go through in order to get a job at Disney? Do you have to go through the college program? How do you go about getting a job as a cast member? Is it a tough process and how likely are you to get a position if you apply? I'm currently in my junior year in college so I was wondering what my chances of getting a job were if I moved to Florida after I graduate my undergrad.

Listen I would highly recommend the CP as a way in here.It gives you a semester to meet others, live in Disney housing, learn the area.Then you are able to locate room mates that stay on.

My son and his room mates did this, it gave then good experience in a sheltered environment and then there were ready to live in a an apartment.Honestly most of the employees are CP people who tried it and liked it.

My son did rides at CP and then on his own at DL and is now in Florida doing monorail/transportation.If you have questions I would be happy to try and answer them.

The thing is that I'm already a junior in college. Do they accept you once you graduate college and go into grad school or only when you're in undergraduate years? Or could I apply when I'm a senior ? And go in the following fall semester?

you can apply your final undergrad semester and do the program the semester after graduation or as a grad student, though you won't find many other grad students in the DCP.

as far as getting a regular job at disney, getting a part-time job, in my experience, is extremely easy. I haven't applied for full-time as there hasn't been a position in my field posted since I started looking.

Okay so even if I were to wait and just get a job there rather than going through the college program, I would still have a good chance of getting a part time job? I plan on going to grad school so I wanted to be able to further my major but also possibly get a job at Disney while I was still in school so I could be making some money and enjoying my part time job as well, which I know I would at Disney lol.

If you have a pulse and live in central Florida you have a good chance of getting hired at Disney.

You don't even have to live in FL at the time of interviewing as long as you tell them you're willing to relocate in less than a month. lol.
