yes, you can request a fridge for medical reasons.
They do not charge for a fridge required for medical reasons.

when i made my reservation (i booked directly with disney on the phone) i told them to put the request right on my reservation.
i don't know how you reserved your room, but you should be able to add it to your room reservation.

state clearly that it's for medical reasons.

When you check in, tell them again that you requested a fridge for medical reasons.

Be sure to check your bill to see that they don't add the $10/day.
If they do by mistake, they will correct the bill if you bring it to their attention.

Is there perhaps a DIS fridge swap for ASMu? They do one for some of the other resorts. Have a look on the resorts board or post a question there as you need to get in on the list (if there is one) for your dates. If I get a moment this afternoon I will check for you. :goodvibes

but fridges are free at the value resorts if you need them for medical reasons, so there's no need to do the fridge swap..

And I would have noticed that the OP had mentioned medical reasons if I had read the post properly :headache:

You are right :)

yep free for medical problems

HI, whats the number to call and make notes on your reservation for room requests ?

you might want to post this as a new question, so that people will answer it..

i only know the number in the US...
is that the number you need?

the US number is 001-407-939-7429

or do you need the UK number?
maybe it's this?
U.K. Guest Information: 0870 24 24 900 from the UK

i always call that first number - the one to the US - but i don't know if that's the one you need to call.

Cheers for the reply...:thumbsup2

Strange though I called both numbers and got advised I needed to contact my booking agent and get them to contact DW direct for any room requests ?? Never done that before but I have always booked direct with DW on previous holidays....

i wouldn't worry about not being able to get it on your reservation..

just tell them that you put it on your reservation and they must have lost it...

in any case, they have lots of fridges...
and you NEED it for medical reasons, so they'll bring one to your room...

i really wouldn't worry...

if it were me, i'd lie when i check in and tell them that i did put it on the reservation that my son needs the fridge and somehow it must have been lost from the reservation..

but they really have lots of fridges, so it won't be an issue...
