Getting a fastpass BEFORE the park opens?

I am curious about this. A lady I talked to today said that it is possible to get a fastpass before the park opens. We have two days where we are going to parks before opening for Character Breakfasts. Can we swing by and grab fastpasses before eating? When would the fastpass return times be?

Anytime I have gone to Character Breakfasts before the park opens, we have been escorted to the restaurant and the other areas of the park have been roped off.

Maybe she meant you could get a FP during EMH before the park opens to off

I am assuming you were speaking with a fellow guest and not a cast member. You cannot get fast passes before a park opens as the fast pass distribution area are right next to the ride you are getting your pass for so you need to me in the park in order to get a fast pass.

If you are in a park before it's official opening time due to having an ADR you are usually escorted to the breakfast and not allowed to roam around.

Everytime we've done a ADR prior to park opening we've been escorted to gently guided to the correct place with CMs in place at the openings to the other areas of the park to direct us. However she may have meant if you were an onsite guest getting one prior to general park opening if there were Early Morning Extra Hours as stated above.
