We were planning family vacations in January 2022 and Christmas 2022. I know the Sorcerer pass is blocked out for Christmas and was not going to buy any APs in January - just reg tix. The plan was for us to buy reg tix again in Dec 2022 but then upgrade to Sorcerer AP on Jan 1st 2023 before coming home on January 2 (assuming everything still works the way it has in the past).
My DD was just accepted to the DCP with a start date in January 2022. So, I am now likely going to buy one annual pass for just me in January 2022 as I will probably come to visit a few times between January and August while DD is in DCP. (Any free tix she gets can then be used for other friends / family.)
If I have an AP good from Jan 1 2022 - Jan 1 2023, would I be able to upgrade the park tix I still need to buy in Dec 2022 to an AP on Jan 1 (like the rest of the family) or would it not work since technically my existing AP would still be valid? I'd expect to have to pay for a new pass, not a renewal, but I'm not sure I can do either....?
Does this make sense to anyone or am I horribly confused / confusing? lol
