As for the comment about parents dying and arranging the funeral, I think that was uncalled for, sadly both my parents died within 4 years of each other and I hadnt even got to 30, I didnt consider organising their funerals as stressful, more painful and heartrenching, but thats got absolutley nothing to do with vacation planning has it?? maybe housemoving would have been a better analogy![]()
I was "lucky" then, I had just reached my 30th birthday when my Dad died.
It hasn't got anything to do with vacation planning, it has to do with life. Moving house wasn't stressful either - you have a set of tasks, you just work your way through them (same with holiday planning).
Stress to me is when you feel as though your world is falling apart and there is little you can do about it - that, to me, is generally caused by something like death (as you say, something so "painful and heart-wrenching" you really can't think straight

Going to WDW I would take ANY day over something stressful. Going to WDW is a wonderful treat and amazingly EXCITING, not stressful.
Maybe I am just lucky that I am not easily stressed or that people use "stress" to describe things like "hard work" or "something that concerns you a little". BUT at the end of the day a holiday to a dream destination like Florida should NOT be stressful - relax and enjoy!

However, if anyone is too stressed by it, I am happy to pay the change fee for their ticket and go in their place...
