gettin on the boat from WL??

I am trying to decide if we should stay at AKL, or WL. We like that WL has a boat to MK, but my friend is disabled and has difficulty walking and standing for long periods of time. i am just wondering how hard it is to get onto the boat to and from the other resorts, and the the boat to and from MK thanks so much

Two types of boats serve WL, Cruisers and Launches. For MK it is one cruiser and one launch, for the WL,FW,CR route it is two launches. The cruisers you should be able to walk right onto(or wheel if that is how you get around, 99% of the time you can wheel right on). The launches are small and you must step down into them. WL also has a bus to MK, depending on where your room is it might be faster/easier to walk to the bus stop, but not nearly as pretty.

I'm not sure but, I don't think any of the boats will take ECV's.

You can take your ECV on the large boat that goes from VWL to the MK. I do it each time we stay at VWL.

The launches won't because you need to step down to get on.
The Cruisers are larger and will usually work (barring problems like low water levels).
