I have to spend over $600...which I do every month!

Don't forget to "register" by phone or on the web to take part in this offer. The website didn't work for me so I had to phone. It was all automated.

Our bill is usually $1000+ a month BECAUSE we charge everything....groceries, gas, etc.....

i called last nite, as DH was online gaming and I didn't want to slow him down

You guys are lucky! We'd have to spend over $2600 in a MONTH, and then only the dollar amount above that first $2600 is eligible for double rewards. I think I'm gonna pass...

us too......only eligible dollars over our $900, but we pay our card off every month, so not a problem. i guess the different amounts are based on your spending habits? our bill varies from 1100-1600/month


pth--why don't you call and ask them? Tell them you belong to a message board that other people are getting them and inquiring why you haven't....since you've been a "lifelong" member? (just might be an oversight on their part?)

I actually emailed them last night. From what I've been reading here, my usage of the card from month to month wouldn't qualify me. I thought it was just double points during a period of time without any catch.
I'll post their answer once I receive it.

That'd be great...apparently (from previous posts) you need to be a "big spender" Unfortunately the catch is "spend x amount of $$" ..... I'd love it to be "no catch", but that won't happen.....

I've had our card since 2005 and have not redeemed one single dollar yet. We've bought our heating oil on it (vs. writing check), new windows for our house and I think our downpayment on DH's car . We decided to get the card with the intention of taking Disney cruise in 2008. Our final payment is due in full April 1, 2008, and I intend to redeem ALL reward dollars toward DS' part of the bill.....(i did some figuring last month, and I should have enough reward dollars by a month or two before the 4-1-08 due date to cover his fare in full...so DS would be cruisin' for free sweet!!!

Let us know what they say .... it's only for July, Aug & Sept. ...better than nothin'

This is the number on the flyer: 1-800-518-4401...maybe that will help you. It's an automated thing, but i think i remember hearing for more info, to call so and so......

I called the other 1-800 listed here and was told that my credit card number was not recognized as qualifying for the promotion. I wonder what the criteria was to qualify?

there has GOT to be a real person somewhere who has got to know....it probably takes some "leg work" tho..... and the "rewards" are thru Disney, not Chase. They are called Disney Reward Dollars for pity sake!

Sorry you aren't getting the promo, but if you do find anything out, please let me know..... I wish you luck and dust!

Got the offer for double points for charges over $2500, but only for 3 months( I think) My average charges are $3000/month. It ain't worth the effort. Just another scam by Chase.

The offer is only for 3 months: July, Aug & Sept.

I think the amount of money you need to spend is decided upon by your spending habits. Ours is $900...our bill each month is typically between 1,000-1,600.... $900 is not a problem for us....

charlesw--Your spending minimum is below what you say your average bill each month is....I'm guessing, and this is only a guess, that if your account is in good standing, you got this offer, and maybe they averaged a normal bill for you, or dropped $500 off your average bill I don't know how they come up with each amount for each person, but maybe it has something to do with your spending habits?? I don't know if that's the case ... we don't carry a balance and definitely don't charge anywhere close to $2600/month. I'd love to know what their criteria are!
