geting around OUTSIDE Disney!!!

So we leave in just 5 sleeps but I am trying to find the answer to my questions before we go.

1. Instead of renting a car or payign for a cab does anyone know if at Downtown Disney we can hop on the Double Tree Guest Suites buses then walk from there outside of Disney World's gates??

2. Getting to the Premium Outlet walking distance??

3. Closest WalMart??

We have taken the bus from the ticket and transportation centre to Walmart and to Premium outlet mall--one bus goes all the way to Wal-mart--it is quite a long ride but ok--the other bus takes you to Sea World where you transfer to another bus to get to Premium Outlet Mall--if you go to www.golynx.com you can get the information. Also there is an information booth at the ticket and transportation centre that will tell you which bus is the one to take.
The Premium Outlet Mall is across a major highway so you can't walk there but a taxi from one of the hotels is fairly cheap.

Actually you probably could walk from DTD to the premium outlet mall but it would be a very long, very hot walk. A cab from your hotel would be probably $10 or $15 each way. If you want to do Wal Mart too you may want to consider a one day car rental.

Could anyone tell me where the nearest (decent) walmart is from POP. The reason I say decent is we once were told when we went to TO Zoo to go to walmart in Scarborough. Not knowing the area we went. I do NOT like going shopping where there are bars on the windows lol
