Getawaytoday

I do not believe that the price of $188.00 for an 8 day p/h ticket, relates to the current promotion. On line, it only goes up to 6 days. For each additional p/h day, the ticket price drops. In the former case, it would actually work out to be more. Which does not make for logical sequential sense to me.
I would just call the Walt Disney Travel Co. and ask about the 8 day park hoppers.

I called WD Travel on Friday. Ordered 8 day passes. We're not going until June, and I confirmed that they would be good in June. The agent asked for our arrival date. Later, she said the tickets would arrive approximately 21 days before our trip. As I posted earlier, I had called the gate ticket office first, and that CM said they had 8 day tickets at the gate with no expiration date. If you need the number I called for WD Travel, I probably have it somewhere here.

Coming back to add: My total was just over $1000 for 4 adult and 1 child 8 day hoppers. So the $188 price for adults is probably about right when you include taxes.

Is the 188 for the kid's price promotion?

As far as I know yes it was. I was told we had to use them for the first time by April 30th and they would be good for 13 days after the first use. Since we are going April 23rd this was not a problem for us.

If you have the number I'd so appreciate it. I haven't purchased my tickets yet so I'd love to look into that

Do you plan on returning to the park again this year?
If so, you might want to purchase an AP. Or maybe just one of you can purchase the AP. That way you can get free parking and discounts on meals and merchandise during your stay... :)
If you plan on eating in one of the restaurants, it could save you alot of $.
15% to be exact...

Okay, now I'm confused. Right now, even the 5 and 6 day hoppers online are over 200. How can 8 day hoppers be less than that?

Correction: My passes couldn't have been the Kids' Price promo, because I made triple-sure they were good in June (and the Kids' promo end at the end of April). However, I know what I was charged, and it can't have been much more than $200/ticket. Not sure the price difference between kids vs. adults, but the average for my 5 tickets was $210/each.

They were incredibly helpful.
Oh thank you so much. I'm gonna call tomorrow to see if I can order my tickets. Hehehehe!

That might explain things a little more. Kids are about 30 cheaper, so that would make a little more sense in how an 8 day hopper stacks up with a 6 day.

Was your total $1040.00? I was quoted $214.00 per adult and $184.00 per child for a total of $1040.00. This was for the 8 day hoppers. I have four adults and one child traveling in June. I am so happy they are still available.

Which Vancouver are you in? If you're in Canada, you might check your Canadian travel agencies...other countries sometimes have much different options than Americans get.

OT - but bumber this made me smile! I grew up in Vancouver, Washington and was alway very BUGGED by people assuming that there is only ONE Vancouver. Kind of like the "Portland" thing too (Oregon vs Maine). :rotfl:

:cool1: DOES THE HAPPY 8 DAY HOPPER PASS DANCE :cool1:

BUGDOZER I am throwing a HUGE HUGE HUGE Virtual hug out to you OH MY!!! I just called that number and I was able to get 8 day hoppers for May. Ive been kinda bummed the last few days thinking I wasnt able to get em anymore.

The Disneyland Resort number you gave me (1-800-225-2024) sells 7 and 8 day hoppers. They are the only company that they are aware of that will still sell 7-8 days and will continue to do so. 7 -8 days are the exact same price and include 1 magic morning.

The price I was quoted for "AFTER" the promo of everyone playing for the kids price is over was $219 per adult. But $219 includes the processing and shipping fees.

:goodvibes EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! ITS OFFICIAL!!! IM GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!

Like that would have stopped you anyway. :)

I just want to make sure that I understand this correctly. There is not a everyone plays for the child's price, for 7 or 8 day park hoppers.
It is my understanding that this promotion does not extend past 6 days.

Ok let's clarify... The promo "everyone plays for kids prices" is a promo that goes until the end of April. If you are going to Disneyland and purchase hopper passes before April, the ticket prices will be childrens prices. Those passes must be used for the first time by the end of April or they will expire and will be invalid if you use them after the 1st of may for the first time use. I don't know what the kids play ticket cost is for 7-8 days, but when you call or go online to buy your tickets, Disney asks when your trip is so they can update the ticket price for that month. The price I was quoted was for the non promo and is their eveyday price for non promo months. They come with one magic morning if you buy over a 3 day hopper.

The answer is we don't know.

Both Brer, Mystic, and Kay intend on going on a date NOT in the promo. We have not had anyone ask about the promo price for 7/8 day hoppers. I would assume that they are included, but you'd have to call WDT to clarify.

I have another :offtopic: question, sorry I keep trying to stray this thread, but I hate to make a new thread. Does anyone know if the "bonus" stuff (or whatever they call it) that you get with GAT changes through the year or is what they are offering now going to be what is offered all year? (ie child's sling backpack, pins, lanyards.....)

You are very very welcome. Glad I was able to help :goodvibes Nice to know we are not the only ones spending 8 days in 2 parks hehe...

I bought 8 day passes that are the play for the kids price. It was $188 per ticket including all taxes and shipping. I MUST use these for the first time by April 30th. They are good for 13 days from first use or until we use all 8 days.
